Everett R. Johnson, DMD, pllc is Hiring a Dental Assistant (Temporary) Near Laconia, NH

Our dental assistant is going in for surgery March 26 and will be out 4-6 weeks. You could come in & shadow march 25th, work march 26th and start April 8th (some of us will be on vacation) OR come in at the end of March to get acquainted and start April 8th, whatever works. Pay is negotiable and we are open to you signing a W-9 so you can be paid weekly and not have to join payroll.

```Duties```
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring and trimming models
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment
- Manage patient records

```Qualifications```
- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience
- Knowledge of Practice works helpful
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions helpful
- Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and equipment
- Understanding of medical terminology and coding procedures
- Strong infection control practices and aseptic technique
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients
- Ability to assess patient needs and provide appropriate care
- Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
